Chop-chop Salad & Seared Sesame Ahi Tuna

  • 1 per person Ahi tuna filet
  • 1 tbsp Black sesame seeds
  • Chop Chop Salad
  • Ken's Cucumber Wasabi Dressing
  • 1 tbsp Cilantro chopped
  • 1 tbsp Pickled ginger
  • 1.  Pat tuna filet dry with paper towel and sprinkle with black sesame seeds pressing into filet to coat. Preheat sauté pan with canola oil and sear tuna 15 to 20 seconds on each side; remove to cutting board and let rest.
  • 2.  Place Chop Chop Salad serving in mold ring in center of serving plate, slice seared tuna ¼” thick and fan out on top of salad. Drizzle with Ken’s Cucumber Wasabi Dressing and garnish with chopped cilantro and pickled ginger.
  • 3.  Remove mold ring and serve.
